I liked the first one as well. Definitely a feel-good movie for dads. But a sequel? Ain't really feeling it...

ed: but as for Liam Neeson? "2 tears in a bucket, f*#k it--it's a paycheck!" :p

Shouldn't it be called "Taken. . . .Again"?

Was pleasantly surprised with the first one. Hopefully, this one will be just as entertaining.

When it's the daughter that's taken: it's your own flesh and blood so you use every black-ops skill to do whatever it takes to get her back.

... when it's the ex-wife: meh... just leave it to the local cops, they're experienced in this sort of thing!

I'm sure the ex-wife can channel her inner Onatopp and kill her captor with her vice-like thighs. Or she can go full-Phoenix Force on 'em and turn them into crispy fritters.

I rolled my eyes at first, but seems like it could work and the bad guys might want revenge. you think they wouldn't be that stupid, though.

I liked it, but it wasn't nearly as good as the first. There were some serious holes in the plot also.

Apparently you can go around blowing stuff up in Instanbul and no one would give a damn...

So many things wrong with this movie, lost track of it all. With all due respect Liam Neeson is starting to rack up some bad films on his resume...

Should have set the movie in Afghanistan; they're so used to explosions that you could set off a half-ton of C4 five feet away, and you couldn't get the camels to flinch.

Here is another thing Why is that shot on the roof scene used in every friggen movie!!!

It was used in that Banker Conspiracy movie.-Forgot its name

Then the last bond movie

and now Taken; for a ride, A lesson on how to get your drivers licence

it was also in "The International" movie starring Clive Owen, and in probably a lot more movies both recent and old. the roof of the Grand Bazaar has been a staple for cinematographers for decades. i can understand why film makers are drawn to it. the Grand Bazaar is as iconic of Istanbul as its famous mosques, and for good reason: the rooftops are an exotic landscape with a breathtaking skyline/backdrop, and something difficult to get in-frame if shooting at ground level, considering how dense Istanbul is. so asking why the Grand Bazaar roof is in a lot of films is like asking why many movies are shot in Central Park, or Grand Central Station, or in and around the Vatican, or the Eiffel Tower. it's just a shame that this movie sucked big time.
